Your website can be fined from two directions at once

39 legal checks
They apply to any website, store or presentation page. Whatever does not apply to your site, I say so in the report.

During the check I change nothing. I only read what is public, the way any visitor sees it.

The two directions your website exposes you from

First direction: consumer protection

The law requires you to show clearly who you are and to give the buyer the information they must have before paying.

The consumer protection authority inspects and penalises. Fines for incomplete information or unfair practices start from a few thousand and reach tens of thousands of RON.

Second direction: the accessibility rules

Since 28 June 2025, online stores must be accessible to people with disabilities.

Micro-enterprises, under 10 employees and under 2 million euros in turnover, are exempt. Above these thresholds, fines run between 6,000 and 15,000 RON, and the authority can also impose additional measures.

Both show up in a single check.

Who the report is for

For any website or store that sells or presents services to consumers. The two checks apply differently depending on company size, and the report tells you clearly what is mandatory in your case.

Consumer protection: for everyone

Legal pages, trader identity, the right of withdrawal and correct information apply to any business selling online, whatever its size. There is no exemption here.

Accessibility: above the micro-enterprise threshold

Legally mandatory only above this threshold. Micro-enterprises (under 10 employees and under 2 million euros in turnover) are exempt: below the threshold, the report marks accessibility as a recommendation, not as a fine risk.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do I get?

A document by email with your website’s score, all the problems found in order of severity and, for each, what to change and how to confirm it is fixed.

How long does it take?

Automatically, within minutes of payment. You do not wait for anyone.

What if my website is already in order?

The report confirms, with a score, whether you are in good shape. Either way you know where you stand.

What fine do you risk for missing obligations?

The consumer protection authority penalises incomplete information and unfair practices. Fines start from a few thousand and reach tens of thousands of RON, depending on severity.

Does it replace legal advice?

No. It is an assistance tool, based on automated checks. It does not replace a full legal audit or a lawyer’s opinion.

What can an automated check not do?

The report is produced by an automated tool that analyzes what is technically visible on your website, just as any visitor sees it. That is precisely why it has limits: it does not know your contracts, your internal data flows or the context in which you run your business, and where a pattern is not proof, the report honestly tells you “check this” instead of accusing. No automated tool can guarantee complete coverage of the law, and mine does not claim to. For a complete picture, rigorously checked against your specific situation, I recommend an audit carried out by a specialist: you can write to me through my contact page.
